Hope And The Holidays

It’s that time of the year again Bozeman-ites, the holidays are upon us! As we get closer and closer to Christmas, consider adding one more item to your Christmas shopping list. Hope and The Holidays started in 2010 by the Marine Corps League, Lions Club, Vietnam Veterans, Kiwanis, and the American Legion. Their main goal in mind is to provide families in need with food for the holidays and presents for their children. In 2016, they provided 1,613 children with gifts, helped feed and assist 595 families, and passed out 338 Christmas food baskets. So let’s help beat that this year!

This year, Ressler Motors is joining hands with Hope and The Holidays to provide kids and their families with food and presents for the holiday season. So what do we need from you Bozeman? Ressler Motors is now a hub for Hope and The Holidays. We have several boxes around our dealership that you can drop new unwrapped toys in. Our goal this year is to be able to deliver two full truckloads of toys to their facility! However, we can’t do it without you. So let’s rally together as a community and lift up the ones who are less fortunate and give them a holiday season they deserve! The drive starts now and goes until December 20th. For any questions regarding the organization or donations check out Hope for The Holidays website at: https://hopeandtheholidaysmt.com/

Ressler Motors is collecting both Money donations, to purchase toys with, and packaged toys dropped of at our Toyota of Bozeman location. You can stop in anytime and drop these off in one of our designated “bins”  for the Hope for Holidays children and families.

Hope and the Holidays

Hope & the Holidays  has been around for nearly 19 years, but only recently got its new name. In recent years the organization was previously know as Toys for Tots. Founded by Bob Metcalf of the Marine Corps and Michelle Reiser, a realtor associated with Prudential. When Michelle became ill and Bob wanted to retire, Bozeman Lions club stepped in to help! Marine Corps League, the American Legion, area Lions clubs and area Kiwanis clubs partnered with Hope & the Holidays. They are dedicated to helping families in need, especially during the holiday season.
