Bridger Mountain Friends of the NRA

For over twenty  years, The NRA Foundation has catered to the needs of freedom-loving Americans across the United States. They continue to teach freedom through programs that instill knowledge about the United States history. They form partnerships with leaders in communities and provide grants that are key in funding programs that support our shared vision.

Since the founding of Friends of the NRA in 1990, we’ve exceeded more than $300 million in funding through more than 38,000 grants in support of the shooting sports. These grants provide essential funding that benefits programs such as youth education, law enforcement training, hunter education, conservation, firearms and marksmanship training and safety, and much more.

The NRA Foundation is one of the United States more charitable organization’s in support of the shooting sports, has presented thousands of grants in support of educational programs since its founding in 1990. Since its establishment in October 1992 Friends of NRA events provide participants an opportunity to support the charitable goals of The NRA Foundation and enjoy the fellowship of other gun carries across the state and the nation.
The people who organize and put the Friends of the NRA events are deeply dedicated and work hard to make their events a wonderful time. Working with NRA Field Staff, are also thousands of devoted individuals across America, passionate and concerned about the future of the shooting sports. These individuals participate in the program by organizing committees, securing donations, selling tickets, and hosting a Friends of NRA banquet in their communities. Whether you’re interested in assisting on a committee or just attending, you’ll meet fire chiefs, engineers, local business owners, law enforcement, and teachers – all mainstream citizens working together to secure the Second Amendment and raise money for the shooting sports.
Along with comradery and fun, Friends of NRA events works toward one goal— fundraising for the future of the shooting sports. Since its founding in 1992, Friends of NRA has held over 17,600 events, reached over 3.2 million attendees and raised over $600 million for The NRA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Every year, The NRA Foundation donates half of all net proceeds to fund projects within the state in which the money was raised and uses the other half to fund similar projects with a national scope.
