Want to use the Fourth of July fireworks as an excuse to take your significant other out on a date? Then the perfect place to go is up the “M.” The view of the city and the fireworks from this location will make for the perfect date. Take the 1-mile hike up the “M” and sit back and relax as fireworks are set off at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
If You Want to Take the Family
If you don’t want to travel too far and are looking for a place in town to take your children to see the fireworks, then the old Kmart parking lot just off 7th Street offers free parking and great views of the fireworks. Located just down the street from the fireworks, you will be close enough to see all the action. Take a truck, flip down the tailgate, and lay back and watch the fireworks while your children enjoy the light show. Another great family-friendly location in town is Peet’s Hill. The top of this hill offers stunning views of the city and is a perfect, family friendly location for watching the fireworks. You won’t have to go out of town to find the best views for the Fourth.
