10 Summer Events in Bozeman 2018
If you are looking for a great way to get out of the house and have some fun around Bozeman this summer, one of our summer events is just what the doctor ordered. Take a look at a few of the things going on around the area, and make the most out of the warm nights and long days that Big Sky Country offers.
In a bustling community like Bozeman, one can truly appreciate all of the homegrown and homemade products available for purchase at our local farmer’s markets. The Bozeman area is lucky to offer two different farmers markets to serve our friends and neighbors:
Bogert Farmers Market runs every Tuesday from June 5th through September 25th from 5 to 8 pm at Bogert Park.
Gallatin Valley Farmers Market runs every Saturday beginning June 16th through September 18th at Haynes Pavilion at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
Music on Main
The music on main events is a great way to get out and enjoy some of the truly talented local musicians around Bozman for free. Although the 2018 schedule of events has not been released yet, you can expect music every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 on Main Street from Rouse Avenue to Black Ave.
Sweet Pea Festival
This year, August 3rd, 4th, and 5th mark the 41st Bozeman Sweet Pea Festival. This great event gives you the opportunity to enjoy many events rolled into one festive week. Activities such as live music, parades, art shows, as well as much more, await you and your family.
Headwaters Country Jam
A short drive from Bozeman will find you in the community of Three Forks Montana, and the home of the Headwaters Country Jam. At this fun and energetic music-focused event from June 14th through the 16th, you and your family can enjoy an excellent selection of country music such as Gary Allen, Kip Moore, Josh Turner, and many more.
In true spirit of the west fashion, Bozeman is home to many exciting and entertaining rodeos. From local to national talent, these rodeos are sure to be fun for the entire family all throughout the summer. The Wild West Rodeo runs throughout the summer from mid-June through the end of August, while several other rodeos dot the schedule like the Big Sky PBR event at the end of July.
Bozeman Craft Beer Week
This summer, Bozeman’s Craft Beer Week will run from May 5th through the 12th and will offer a wide selection of craft beers from throughout the Gallatin Valley. This year, the event features over 20 different events focused on…. You guessed it, beer. Come experience all that this event has to offer this summer in Bozeman.
Cruisin’ on Main Annual Car Show
If classic cars are your thing, Sunday, August 19th features the annual Cruisin on Main Car Show that is sure to be a blast for your whole family. Not only is this a fun event, but all proceeds benefit Cancer Support Community, Montana. What could possibly be better than having fun for a good cause?
Bozeman S.L.A.M. Festival
In true Bozeman fashion, August 4th and 5th 2018 finds us again supporting our local artists and musicians with the 2018 S.L.A.M. Festival. This fun event features many talented artists and musicians from all over Montana with plenty of great live music, presentations, showcases, and much more that help fund scholarships for students seeking education in the arts.
Bozeman 4th of July Celebration
If you love fireworks, this is the celebration for you. The Bozeman 4th of July celebration is proud to offer one of Montana’s largest display of fireworks. Before the fireworks, catch a concert or enjoy many of the other activities that will be going on throughout the community for the 4th.
Big Sky Country State Fair
To truly get the feel of life in Big Sky Country, you can’t beat all of the events going on at the 2018 Big Sky Country State Fair. From July 18th to July 22nd, you can expect plenty going on at the fairgrounds and throughout the community. From live music, rodeos, and much more, 2018 is already exciting, and it’s only getting better.
